Instructions to participate

Hard disk install

  1. Download and install the required GPU drivers
    • Install updated graphics drivers
  2. Download and install the latest stable BOINC client [Download]
  3. Run BOINC and follow the steps to create a new account.
  4. When prompted, enter http://donateathome.org and you are ready to crunch.

System requirements

Minimum requirements

  • GPU: AMD/ATI GPUs (recommended) or Nvidia GPUs
  • CPU: any
  • RAM: 1GB (2GB for Vista, W7, Ubuntu)
  • HDD: 10GB free space, no more than 80% used (very important under windows)

Supported OS

  • Linux 64-bit
  • Windows Vista/7 32/64-bit (not XP)

We recommend non-overclocked cards and up-to-date drivers.
